PRISM TRADING HISTORY

PRISM Trading Advisors, Inc. (PRISM), is a privately held service firm in Sugar Land, Texas.  Since its inception in 1997, PRISM has been extensively involved in the areas of technical analysis, options analysis, trading systems back-testing, professional trader development, and continuing education in the fields of technical analysis, dynamic hedging, risk management, and options-based trading strategies.

PRISM has been involved with the Houston Chapter of the Market Technicians Association (MTA) since 1998.  In addition PRISM members have successfully completed the rigorous MTA self-study program and have been awarded the MTA designation. 

PRISM members have also conducted extensive research in the areas of the MACD (moving average convergence-divergence) indicator, the stochastics and RSI (relative strength indicator) indicators, as well as options-based trading strategies (dynamic hedging, gamma and theta scalping, and theta positive strategies).

PRISM remains active in the areas of academic research, publications, and educational seminars, for technical analysis and options analysis applications.  Its research ideas and back-test results have been published in several key articles in the Journal of Technical Analysis. 

Currently PRISM continues to hold regular meetings for the Houston MTA Chapter.
